The EPL 185 represents EP Equipment's latest electric pallet truck model, marking a significant advancement from the previous EPT 20-15ET entry-level trucks. Leveraging a decade's worth of knowledge, EP has developed the next generation, boasting a newly designed Li-Ion battery and integrated chargers to enhance flexibility.
With its compact size, measuring only 400mm to the face of the forks, the new EPL trucks are ideal for various standard applications in warehouses, logistics, and industries.
Standard features of the EPL185 include an integrated charger, allowing for convenient charging at any standard power outlet. Alternatively, customers have the option to order a truck with an external charger, enabling the flexible charging of multiple batteries outside the truck.
The core component of the new EPL truck series is the Li-Ion battery. The EPL185 boasts a powerful brushless 0.9kW DC motor, enabling higher speeds of up to 5.5 km/h and enhanced grade-ability. This truck operates on a 48V 20Ah battery, offering extended runtime and suitability for heavier applications.
Mandatory integrated chargers are provided with the EPL185, ensuring maximum flexibility when it comes to charging. These trucks can utilise any standard power outlet for charging purposes. Alternatively, customers have the option to order an external charger if they require the flexibility of charging multiple batteries outside the truck.
Moreover, the new EPL battery connectors have undergone enhancements to provide a higher level of protection in all aspects. The battery pins are shielded to prevent damage from external forces, and a robust steel cover safeguards the battery from weather conditions and external impacts.
